This journal entry is from Japan. My mother and father lived in the city of Sasebo, when my dad was stationed there after service in the Korean War. I was born in Sasebo in November, 1954. We moved to California about six weeks after my birth. My mother took a number of photographs shortly before we left, showing the beautiful and poignant scenes of the area.
